2019 Year End Windsor-Essex Real Estate Update As we start into 2020, let’s look back at how things stood at the end of 2019 for real estate in Windsor and Essex County, and what it means for you this year. Housing prices continued to climb in 2019, showing that this remained a strong seller’s market. The average price of a home in Windsor Essex stood at $335,697 at the end of 2019, up over 12%. There was an increase of 12.7% in listings compared to 2018, showing that more sellers were looking to take advantage of the current market conditions. Even with this increase, with the number of people looking to buy right now, there is still a shortage in available properties in Windsor-Essex right now. The number of homes jumped by 287 in 2019 compared to the year before, an increase of 4.6%. In total, 6,521 homes sold in Windsor-Essex last year.
